Stay Connected- join a Senior Center

Surprisingly, joining a “Senior” center might come sooner than you think. It did for me. At 52, I was checking out the Center at the Mall in Monaca with my parents in mind.  I was looking for a place that would offer a new audience for my dad’s stories, a change of scene for my mom, and some affordable, healthy meals for them both ($3 for lunch!). What I found… was a place for me too! The Center at the Mall welcomes those starting at age 50 and has a library, a computer lab, a fitness room, planned trips, and a Mahjong club.  The list of offerings… is so much more than this.  And the price is right, joining is FREE (unless you add the fitness portion). This is a great place to help stay connected to your community.
